In januari 2007 had Six Parts Seven net ‘Casually Smashed To Pieces’ opgenomen. Tot de release van de plaat zaten ze in een soort doelloze tijd waarin ze veel repeteerden en aan individuele projecten werkten. Als Six Parts Seven voelden ze de drang om samen te werken met Joey Beltram alias ‘Goodmorning Valentine’. Twee dagen opnemen, simpel, weinig microfoons. There were handles of whiskey, there was weed, stacks of Marlboro Reds for the ones still dragging butts.
