Bij Christina Schneider alias Locate S,1 hebben Amerikaanse nostalgie en selectieve jeugdherinneringen een soort horrorwending genomen. Daarom koos ze ‘Wicked Jaw’ als albumtitel, verwijzend naar de gelijknamige noir novel van Daschel Hammitt. Juist toen Schneider in behandeling ging voor seksueel misbruik als kind, schreef ze gelijktijdig aan dit album. The result is a surprisingly tender and often jubilant set of conversations with the ghosts of painful memories.
